About Benallack
Nestled at the head of Cowlands Creek, amongst farmland and woods, with a river running alongside, Benallack is ideal for a relaxing, peaceful retreat. The dwellings surrounding the creeks were often built to house workers from either the Tregarthen Estate or the nearby town of Redruth when travel to and from the estuary towns was mainly by boat.
Benallack is set in a picturesque tranquil setting which is ideal for a relaxing retreat but the surrounding area is dedicated to sailing, watersports, golfing (at Killiow Golf Club) and walking. In front of Benallack is a stone quay which is available for use as access for dinghies and canoes. Loe Beach is approximately 2 miles away where you will find Loe Beach Watersports Centre which hires boats and equipment. This very sheltered mostly shingle beach is excellent for sailing. Fishing from rocks to the north is also recommended especially in the early morning and evening.
“Benallack stands proud at the head of one of the most unspoilt creeks off the Fal estuary”
