May Day open house party
An excuse to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of a House Party in a fine Scottish castle on the very edge of the sea. On arrival at the Great Entrance our household staff in our traditional line-up of welcome will greet you. A wee dram is always taken in the Gun Hall, the Visitor’s Book signed as luggage is whisked to rooms. Our household ladies escort you to your room and you will learn a little of the history of the castle as you go.
From the moment that Alistair pipes you in at the Great Entrance this party is to celebrate the arrival of spring and get your year off to a wonderful start. Winter is over, the grass is growing and Stephen is well ahead of the game with the first of the sweet peas showing in the greenhouse.
We may or may not dance around the May Pole, but the Highland Challenge will definitely take on a festive Spring feel. The Tree House could beckon to satisfy your taste buds, or we may have a BBQ in Helen’s Courtyard (Helen is our Ghost). Whatever is decided we will always have fun.
So come and join us and enjoy the warmth and glow of our glorious peat fires. Enjoy meeting new people, make new friends and have a wonderful time.
